Following the events of “Godspawn,” the Tyrian Alliance is now aware of a looming threat hidden within the mursaat ruins deep in Janthir. In “Repentance,” the second of three major updates for Guild Wars 2®: Janthir Wilds™, you will venture even farther north into the Isles of Janthir, uncover unexpected perils, and end them before Tyria is endangered again. There’s plenty of new content to enjoy, so let’s dive into it!
What’s New?
In our previous blog, we explored the origins of Mistburned Barrens and how this fractured landscape came to be. We also delved into the lore of the mursaat, uncovering their influence on the world of Tyria. Now you can experience these stories firsthand with new content, challenges, and rewards. Wizard’s Vault Seasonal Refresh
The latest rotation in the Wizard’s Vault introduces a fresh lineup of must-have rewards. Elevate your relaxation with the Skysage’s Throne, an elegant and celestial-inspired seat fit for the most distinguished adventurers. Meanwhile, the Wayward Wisp quest provides players with the opportunity to set forth on a new adventure—exclusive to the Wizard’s Vault—that will have you engaging with a wisp that appears on its own whims and rewards players with a forest wisp accessory and infusion.
For those looking to bolster their defenses, the Ward Knight’s gloves, shoulders, and boots offers a bold and sturdy look, ensuring you stand strong against any challenge. Meanwhile, the Old-Growth Weapons collection brings the power of nature into battle with intricate designs and an organic touch.
Twitch Drops
Starting March 11, you can earn exclusive Twitch Drops just by watching your favorite Guild Wars 2 streamers! Watch a total of five hours between 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time (UTC-7) March 11 to 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (UTC-7) March 16 to unlock all available rewards.

Fun Events All Spring Long
While the “Repentance” update is here, the adventure continues with a slate of exciting events on the horizon! On March 25, we’re updating the final boss of the Mount Balrior raid, giving Ura a legendary mode that will test the skills of the most dedicated raiders.
Then, April is packed with thrilling festivities, starting with the Dungeon Rush event, where adventurers can push their limits and reap valuable rewards. Following that, the Super Adventure Festival returns with new rewards, bringing nostalgic fun and platforming challenges to all who dare to enter Moto’s pixelated world.
May brings even more opportunities to dive into the action. Revisit past adventures in the Return to End of Dragons event, then sharpen your competitive edge with the PvP Rush event. If high-speed thrills are more your style, Roller Beetle Racing Week will let you test your racing prowess. Meanwhile, PvP enthusiasts can look forward to the PvP Push Beta, offering a glimpse at what’s next for structured competition.
